ADVANCED FILM/TV INTENSIVE with Christine Kromer, Casting Director, Kromer Casting

Sunday, November 24, 2019, 3pm ET / 12pm PT

Here's a fantastic opportunity to work with CD Christine Kromer, winner of both an Emmy and Artios Award for Excellence in Casting for HBO's TRUE DETECTIVE!

Currently, she is interested in teaching and working with talent of all types and ethnicities (18+). 

For this one night intensive, Christine will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance from sides@actorsconnection.com. Please bring in TWO copies of your sides - one for you, and one for your reader (with the reader's lines highlighted). 

Always bring a hardcopy of your headshot/resume to class for feedback purposes. 

Scenes will be recorded on-camera and made available to you within one week. An email notification will be sent from videos@actorsconnection.com when the clips are available to view and download from your AC account. Videos are for educational purposes only and are NOT to be posted on YouTube, Facebook, or any other public viewing site. Please note: Occasionally technical issues do occur, as a result video clips are a courtesy, not a guarantee.

Christine Kromer

Christine's previous work includes the Starz hit series POWER and POWER BOOK 2: GHOST, HBO's HIGH MAINTENANCE, VH1 series THE BREAKS, independent films FAN GIRL and STEREOTYPICALLY YOU and other high profile projects she will discuss in class. Other casting credits include collaborations with Alexa Fogel on projects including series/pilot work such as TRUE DETECTIVE (HBO), BANSHEE (Cinemax), QUARRY (HBO) and TREME (HBO) as well as TV movie TOO BIG TO FAIL.

Feature film credits include: Let's Be Cops, George Lucas' Red Tails, The Sitter starring Jonah Hill, New York casting for Paranormal Activity 3 and The A-Team. Past television projects include the BBC series Copper, the FX series Lights Out and Comedy Central pilot Black Jack, as well as The Wire, In Treatment and Generation Kill for HBO.

Additionally she was an agent at Peter Strain and Associates for 3 years and worked at FOX studios with Meg Simon and Disney Touchstone TV.
