New! Auditioning for Co-Stars, Guest Stars and Series Regulars: 3 Week Online TV Series Class with Maria Hubbard, On-Camera Coach and Teacher

Learn how to make strong, specific choices when auditioning for co-stars, guest stars, and series regulars in this 3 week class.

Maria will assign sides each week and give extensive feedback and behind-the-scenes info on what you can do in the room to feel confident about your on-camera auditions.

Each week she'll lead class in a lively discussion about what you can and cannot control in an audition, what a casting director is looking for, choosing strong takes in a self-tape and everything in between.

Since 2016, Maria has been working as a private acting coach in New York City and teaching at MFA and undergraduate programs across the country. She specializes in working with actors in all stages of their career - from audition prep to on-set acting coach, Maria encourages actors to be confident in their choices and provides insights so they can deliver their best work.

Prior to her career as an on-camera coach Maria worked at various casting offices in New York City, and contributed to casting over 100 episodes of television in both independent and network casting offices.
 

What to Prepare:

For this online class, Maria will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account. 

Assignments will be emailed 1-3 day in advance. 

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Maria Hubbard

Maria Hubbard is a NYC-based acting coach and teacher whose clients are booking roles in all mediums - from guest star, recurring and series regular roles in cable, streaming and network TV, as well as independent film and theater. She specializes in working with actors in all stages of their career - from audition prep to on-set acting coach, Maria encourages actors to be confident in their choices and provides insights so they can deliver their best work. She currently serves as an Adjunct with Pace Performing Arts Film & TV Program and is a frequent guest advisor with NYU Grad Acting.

Maria's experiences in casting - including her years at the FOX network, as well as her years as an independent casting director and casting associate - in addition to her years as an agent's assistant at The Gersh Agency, offer her a unique perspective that makes her a sought after guest lecturer at undergrad and MFA programs across the country.
