Carissa Fowler
Carissa started her career in the entertainment industry when she was 14 years old. She began taking acting classes, found her love of acting, and started booking local commercials and productions in the Atlanta area. In 2004 – 2005 she moved to Los Angeles to take advantage of the training and opportunities during pilot and episodic seasons.
Her LA experience paid off when she moved back to Atlanta. She booked several episodic such as CW One Tree Hill, TPS Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, and USA Necessary Roughness.
After a second stay in LA (between 2009–2010), she continued to build her resume when she booked FOX The Following, a recurring role of BET The Game, and was cast as Diane Lane’s daughter in the feature film, Secretariat. During her downtime beginning in 2007 through current, Carissa started working with Jayme Pervis at J Pervis Talent Agency first assisting in clerical jobs and learning the ins and outs of the agency.
In 2011, Carissa married her first love, Mason Fowler. They have 2 beautiful children. She continues to work at J Pervis Talent Agency.

Tay Smith
Tay Smith is a budding young industry talent on the rise! Only 37 years old, he is one of the founding members of Smith Young Talent Agency, teamed with business partner Christopher Young.
With a satellite office in Inglewood, CA, and headquartered in Atlanta, the number two market for film production, he and his business partner commandeer the southeast region of the US as a force to be reckoned with. They are steadily rocking and rolling with new talent acquisitions and television and film bookings for their clients. Bringing his big talent agency experience to their new boutique firm, the Smith Young’ current roster includes some of the hottest cutting-edge entertainers in the business.
Spanning actors to producers, directors and social media stars, the Smith Young roster
includes notables such at veteran actor T.C. Carson (“Living Single”); Reginae Carter
(BET’s “Secrets of the Salon”), daughter of Lil’ Wayne and Toya Wright; Madison Bailey
( Netflix “Outer Banks”); child actors, Trayce Malachi (NBC “Found”) and Skyler Joy (
Starz “P-Valley”). Shows booked include “Atlanta,” “Black Lightning,” “Ozark” and
countless Marvel Film & Television shows
Tay got his start early on when he started and headed his own music production
company, Yungsta Entertainment based in North Carolina. As a young teen he ran a
staff of producers, artists and writers. Quickly gaining traction with lead recording artist
T-LyriQ, Tay’s Yungsta Entertainment became the talk of the city, positioning him as the
“Mogul” of his town. Upon taking a trip to uncover the booming music scene of Atlanta,
Smith kept hearing about Christopher Young and his legend. Making it his goal to meet
Young, he finally tracked him down and established a mentor/business advisor
relationship. The business arrangement proved fruitful and lead to deeper inroads in the
music world. The two young men are fondly referenced as Smith & Young throughout
the southeast and are considered two of the hottest African-American talent agents on
the southern scene!
They launched BYSB Talent in 2017. The agency went on to boast a handful of series
regulars, many heavy recurring guest stars, guest stars and co-stars. With the need to
refresh their brand, Tay and Christopher have created a new entity with the name of
Smith Young Talent Agency. They continue to represent nearly ten series regulars,
many guest stars and co-stars and their future is bright. The Observer, (December
2020), named Tayvon and Christopher as part of the Entertainment Power 50: The
Changemakers Who Shaped Movies and TV in 2020.
