Zoom: 2 Week TELEVISION/FILM Online Class with Alan Scott Neal, Casting Associate

Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Here's your chance to work with this top CD whose recent projects include the second season of HBO's EUPHORIA, the new Showtime series THE CURSE starring Emma Stone, the new HBO series THE IDOL and the feature film THE ACTOR starring Ryan Gosling.

This class is for adults and teens (13+).

Over two weeks, you'll work closely with Alan on sides he chooses for you from current and recent film and television projects. You'll work on all sizes and types of roles including guest stars and co-stars. 

During this time, Alan will give you valuable feedback, which will greatly improve your audition technique and help you to book more work.

Each class will start off with a virtual Q&A, followed by your presentation of a scene selected by Alan in advance (one hour episodic for week #1, and half-hour comedy for week #2).

Alan will work with each actor in a pre-read/simulated audition scenario, giving adjustments, feedback, suggestions and constructive criticism which will impact your approach toward audition material immediately.

The host will open the ‘room’ at least 30 minutes before the start of class. You’re welcome to arrive during this time to run your scene with the host.

***PLEASE NOTE: Alan busy casting schedule can be hectic and sometimes he has to change class dates due to meetings, last minute casting etc.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For each class, Alan will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account - (one hour episodic for week #1, and half-hour comedy for week #2).

Assignments will be emailed at least 12-24 hours in advance.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.
