Here's a fantastic opportunity to work with CD Christine Kromer, winner of both an Emmy and Artios Award for Excellence in Casting for HBO's TRUE DETECTIVE!

Her previous work includes the Starz series POWER and POWER BOOK 2: GHOSTHBO's HIGH MAINTENANCEVH1 series THE BREAKS, independent films FAN GIRL and STEREOTYPICALLY YOU and other high profile projects she will discuss in class.

Other casting credits include collaborations with Alexa Fogel on projects including series/pilot work such as TRUE DETECTIVE (HBO), BANSHEE (Cinemax), QUARRY (HBO) and TREME (HBO) as well as TV movie TOO BIG TO FAIL.

Christine's projects include 2 Netflix series and a Starz series.

Currently, she is interested in teaching and working with talent of all types and ethnicities (14+). 

The event will start off with an informative virtual Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

The host will open the ‘room’ at least 30 minutes before the start of class. You’re welcome to arrive during this time to run your scene with the host.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this virtual intensive, Christine will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account
Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance. 


Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

  • Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.

Past television projects include the BBC series Copper, the FX series Lights Out and Comedy Central pilot Black Jack, as well as The Wire, In Treatment and Generation Kill for HBO.

Additionally she was an agent at Peter Strain and Associates for 3 years and worked at FOX studios with Meg Simon and Disney Touchstone TV.
