Zoom: FILM/TV Online Intensive with Gail Goldberg, Casting Director

As a casting director, Gail brings years of casting experience to this intensive where she'll be working with you on what it takes to book roles in Television and Film.

Her recent projects include the new TED series on Peacock - the prequel to the hit film starring Mark Wahlberg. She starts casting the second season in August.

Some of her television credits include: THE ORVILLE on FOX, THE CROSSING and WHEN WE RISE on ABC, VEGAS on CBS and SALEM on WGN.

Feature film credits include: THE PRINCESS DIARIES and THE PRINCESS DIARIES 2, THE BIRDCAGE, JUDGE DREDD and 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU.

Gail is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities (13+) and she has called in and booked our actors from previous events.

The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group.

Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.
