Showcase to THREE legit agencies that represent for film, TV and theater in NYC and get immediate feedback on your performance so you can continue to make smarter and more powerful choices in this ever-changing career.

You'll also receive written feedback that will be given to you after the event to provide even more clarity on your work.

Please note that this in person showcase will be at:

Pearl Studios NYC

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

Pearl Studios has two addresses:

500 8th Avenue, 3rd and 4th floors

and across the street
519 8th Avenue, 12th floor
(between 35th and 36th)

EVENT OVERVIEW:

This in-person event will start with a 20-30 minute Q&A with everyone in the studio.

Afterwards, you will be showcasing to the panel by appointment. Q&A is optional to attend but we recommend.

You’ll be given your appointment times in advance in EST.

Please show up at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that timing issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are waiting.

We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration). IN ADDITION: Please bring TWO HARD COPIES of your scene - one highlighted FOR THE READER.

Please bring 3 headshots and resumes stapled together in case guests ask for them.
Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the day before the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

  • Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

  • The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Marc Ferre

New at Daniel Hoff Agency, Marc got his start at CAA and NBC/Universal and then was an agent at The Mine for over four years. He represents talent for film, TV and theater.

Marc is a graduate of NYU.

Eric Leiggi

Established in 2007, The Mine Agency is one of New York’s most sought after boutique talent agencies. The Mine represents a curated list of both emerging and established talent on Broadway, National Tours, Regional Theatre, Television and Film.

Zach Marlin

Zach Marlin is a talent agent in the acting department at the Bret Adams Agency, where he has worked as an agent since January 2022 after starting as an assistant in February 2020. 

In this role, Zach works closely with artists, advocating on their behalf and working to further their careers in film, television, and theatre. Zach has negotiated deals on everything from major television series to Broadway shows and national tours.

He has spoken to students at the Lee Strasberg Institute and the New York Film Academy. Zach is a dramaturg by training and has worked on several productions, in addition to serving as a reader for the Playwrights Realm's fellowship programs. His professional experience includes stints at Roundabout Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Club, Caparelliotis Casting, and the Atlantic Theater Company. MFA in Dramaturgy, Columbia University.
