In Person: 3 Week On-Camera COMMERCIAL Class with Angela Mickey, Casting Director, Liz Lewis Casting

From one of the TOP commercial casting offices in New York, Actors Connection welcomes Angela back to teach her on-camera commercial class.

Over 3 weeks, Angela will work with you on:

-the business of commercials,
-getting comfortable on-camera,
-basic camera technique,
-breaking down commercial copy,-one-liners,
-testimonial vs more character driven auditions
-self taping techniques and tricks

This class is for adults and teens (15+).

You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For the first class, please have a piece of commercial copy (no longer than 30 seconds) that you would like to work on.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Our online office hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday

If you have an emergency for a class you are participating in outside of these hours, please email help@actorsconnection.com and your host will be able to respond.

**No recording of any kind is permitted by participants during class.**

Angela Mickey

Angela Mickey is the most long-term member of the LLCP family. As Managing Director of Casting, Angela works across the board on commercial, voice over, film, TV and theater projects, supporting and guiding our staff to dig deeper and find fresh talent.

She enjoys working with veteran and up-and-coming creatives, helping to provide an individual plan to each casting process, as well as assistance with union regulations and talent payment guidelines. Angela has worked on hundreds of on camera commercial and voice over projects, as well as helped form the real people division.   

Her recent theatrical projects include the Filipino movie musical The Girl Who Left Home, A Year and Change, ReRUN, AppleTV+ Get Rolling With Otis, Hallmark’s One Royal Holiday, Lifetime's The Holiday Fix Up, and Stalker’s Prey III: A Predator Returns.

Always looking for the new, undiscovered talent, Angela can be found conducting audition classes with actors nationwide. Winner of the 2019 Heller Award for Best Northeast Commercial and VO Casting.
