Formerly in casting at NBC, Frankie joined Tara Rubin Casting in 2022.

While at Tara Rubin Casting, Frankie has had the privilege of working on the Broadway productions of Water for Elephants, Back to the Future, Here Lies LoveBad Cinderella, The Phantom of the Opera, and KPOPas well as the world-premiere Off-Broadway and Regional productions of Buena Vista Social Club (Atlantic), Dead Outlaw (Audible), Death Becomes Her (Cadillac Palace Theatre),The Preacher's Wife (Alliance), Water for Elephants (Alliance), and The Brightest Thing in the World (Yale Rep), among others.

For this Master Class, please prepare two "short" contrasting songs (16 or 32 bars). Please also have your list of songs/book available as Frankie might want to hear more.

The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for Frankie using your prepared material in a group format.  He will coach, give direction and offer honest, constructive feedback on your audition material if what you are currently using doesn't “work".

Frankie is interested in working with actors of ALL TYPES - ALL AGES (13+).

An accompanist will be provided.

Frankie Ramirez

Frankie joined Tara Rubin Casting in 2022. Prior to joining Tara Rubin Casting, Frankie was the Casting Coordinator at NBCUniversal in New York where he worked on 60+ TV series and pilots across NBC, Peacock, SYFY, USA, and Peacock Kids -- including "American Auto", "Astrid & Lilly Save the World", "Chucky", "Good Girls", "La Brea", "Law & Order: OC/SVU/True Crime: Menendez", "Saturday Night Live", "Take Note", "This is Us", and "Young Rock".

Frankie has also previously worked at Celebrity Cruises Entertainment, Kate Lumpkin Casting, The Telsey Office, and regionally as an accomplished Music Director and musician. 

Frankie holds a BFA from Shenandoah Conservatory where he double majored in Musical Theater and Musical Theater Accompanying, he is a proud member of CSA (Casting Society), and he has passion and tenacity for discovering and championing underrepresented and historically excluded talent.
