Best known for creating the comedy series Adulthood (2017 HBO New York Latino Film Festival), it was his genre turn with supernatural thriller The Hat Man that led to Rob being one of the most sought-after directors in horror.
The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group.
Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.
Rob is open to meeting All Types-All Ethnicities-All Ages (18+).

For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

Rob Alicea
Rob Alicea is an award-winning Latino Filmmaker from Queens, NY.
His body of work includes writing, directing, and producing numerous independent film, documentary, commercial, and music video projects, in addition to a project for Netflix.
?Best known for creating the comedy series Adulthood (2017 HBO New York Latino Film Festival), it was his genre turn with supernatural thriller The Hat Man that led to Rob being one of the most sought-after directors in horror. Most recently, Rob and co-writer Alexander Vargas, penned the psychological horror script Just Smile for Luz Films - producers of 2024 Sundance Grand Jury Prize Winner In the Summers. In December 2024, Rob made his feature directorial debut with AI Thriller Serena.
Rob dedicates his free time to the mentorship of young filmmakers and serving as the Co-Founder of Latinos In Film + Entertainment (L.I.F.E.).
