In Person: NYCDA Film/TV Audition Technique Intensive with Blaine Johnston, Network TV Casting Director & On-Camera Teacher

Here's your chance to work in person with someone who casts for network TV pilots and knows what creatives are looking for from talent.

This NYCDA alumni intensive is not to be missed if you are looking to book SERIES REGULAR & MAJOR RECURRING roles!

His main focus is casting Series Regular and Major Recurring roles for both network television and streaming. His independent TV/film credits include YOUNGER on TVLand and a short film Mariachi Madness. 

His strengths are helping actors learn what it takes and the skills you need to land a Series Regular and Major Recurring role on TV.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this online class, Blaine will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account

Assignments will be emailed at least 24 hours in advance.

NYCDA at 39 West 19th Street, 2nd floor

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Blaine Johnston

Blaine's (he/him) background is in behind the camera & theater casting and he continues to work in various casting offices in New York City. His main focus is Series Regular and Major Recurring roles for television. His independent tv/film credits include YOUNGER on TVLand and a short film Mariachi Madness. He was a casting director for two NY theater companies, RAL Productions and Goldfish Memory Productions. He recently worked on a project for the Penumbra Theatre Company in St. Paul, MN.
