Here's a rare opportunity to work with this Emmy-nominated TV/Film Casting Director whose cast for multiple award-winning TV series as well as feature films.

This 2 week online on-camera class will replicate the "real world" television/film audition process and give you insider industry tips to help you book!

For your first class, Michael would like you to choose and prepare a 2-3 page scene from a single camera comedy (i.e. 30 Rock, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Goldbergs, The Mindy Project, Community, Everybody Hates Chris, Modern Family) that has already aired that you feel showcases your talent.

For your second class, please choose and prepare a 2-3 page scene from multi-cam comedy (i.e. The Big Bang Theory, Two Broke Girls, Mike and Molly, Two and A Half Men, Friends, Seinfeld) that has already aired that you feel showcases your talent.

PLEASE NOTE: Punctuality is important to Michael. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for his classes.

What to Prepare:

For your first class, please pick out 2-3 page scene from a single camera comedy that has already aired that you feel showcases your talent. For your second class, please pick out 2-3 page scene from multi-cam comedy that has already aired that you feel showcases your talent. You may pick from our general sides or bring in your own 2-3 page scene.

Please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Michael Nicolo

Michael Nicolo began his casting career upon graduation from Marymount Manhattan College in 1999 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. His casting experience began as an assistant in casting various television shows. He is the casting director on many successful half-hour and one-hour shows, along with both independent and studio features.

Michael is known for casting over 20 television series/pilots and multiple feature films. He has been nominated for an Emmy Award as Casting Director for a hit television show on a major network, in addition to being nominated for the Artios Award.
