ON-CAMERA FILM INTENSIVE with Susanne Scheel CSA, Casting Associate, Ellen Chenowith Casting

One of the nicest CD's in the business, Susanne is currently gearing up to cast the next Coen Brothers feature film with Ellen Chenoweth and they just finished casting Barry Levinson's next feature film - ROCK THE KASBAH starring Zooey Deschanel, Bill Murray and Bruce Willis. Recent casting also includes the pilot TIN MAN with Bowling Miscia/Casting and the Emmy-nominated HBO film THE NORMAL HEART starring Julia Roberts and Mark Ruffalo (including an Emmy nomination for casting).

Her notable credits include the feature films MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, THE BLIND SIDE, MONEYBALL, THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN!, THE DESCENDANTS and BLACK NATIVITY.

Susanne will select sides based on your picture and resume which you will be emailed and prepare in advance. The intensive starts off with an informative Q&A followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader ON-CAMERA in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.

Currently, Susanne is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities 18+ for current and future projects.

Susanne has been working in casting for over 5 years. She has worked with notable casting directors such as Avy Kaufman, Francine Maisler, Lora Kennedy, Cathy Sandrich Gelfond, Amanda Mackey, Joseph Middleton and most recently, Tracy Twinkie Bryd and on films such as Academy Award winning "The Blind Side" and "Moneyball" and Golden Globe winning and Oscar Nominated "Argo". Last year, she was called to head the casting of feature Indie film "Delirium" starring Lee Roy Kunz, Cru Ennis, Tyler Shields, Lydia Hearst, Beatrice Rosen and Julia Snigir. The film takes place all over Europe and is set to release later this year. The film already is generating a buzz in the industry and has been written up in Variety.

She is a member of the Casting Society of America and attended film school at Boston University.
