Maria Gee is the Director of Adult Commercial Talent division at The Wayne Agency.
With 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry recruiting talent, she relocated to Los Angeles in 2022. There she connected further with the AAPI Entertainment community and is now dedicated to advocating for diverse representation in media.
Maria looks forward to supporting emerging talent as they advance their entertainment careers in the Commercial arena.
She reps talent in both LA and NY and her clients can be seen in national, regional and local spots and is looking to meet new talent of all types - all ethnicities (18+).
EVENT OVERVIEW:
After a Q&A she'll see Commercial Copy ONE on ONE
The afternoon of the event, you’ll be given your appointment times in EST.
The event will start with a 30 minute Q&A with everyone in the room. Then you will be admitted one by one and get 5 minutes in the room with the panel, including your performance. After your time slot you are free to leave for the evening (hit “Leave Meeting” button).
Please show up at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time, and please be aware that technical issues can occur but your host will keep you updated while you are in the waiting room.
We kindly ask that you do not request to alter your appointment time.
-The host will open the ‘room’ at least 30 minutes before the start of class. You’re welcome to arrive during this time to run your scene with the host.
-Actors will be automatically sent to the ‘waiting room’. The host will admit the actors as they arrive.
-The host or the panel will give the spiel on how the class will run with any special notes, and begin the lesson plan.

Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.

Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.

Maria Gee is the Director of Adult Commercial Talent division at The Wayne Agency.
After earning her BA in Communications & Media Studies from Pace University, Maria worked in talent acquisition within the NYC restaurant industry, opening 10 restaurants in 10 years and recruiting for notable establishments like Pastis, as well as Michelin-starred restaurants, The Clocktower and Le Coucou.
Relocating to Los Angeles in 2022, she connected further with the AAPI Entertainment community and is now dedicated to advocating for diverse representation in media. Maria looks forward to supporting emerging talent as they advance their entertainment careers in the Commercial space.
