Ted Maier is the head of the Adult Commercial Division and Youth Division at Avalon Artists Group LA.

He has been in the business for 29 years and is always looking to looking to book his clients on National commercials or find the next star kid or teen to place on Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix or any other network!

He has worked with the likes of Josh Duhamel, Diana Agron, Riley Smith, Christian Serratos, John Elway, Scottie Pippen, Lynda Carter, John Schneider and more.  

Ted's current clients have booked roles in major feature films, network TV shows and national commercials.  You can see his clients Cali & Noelle Sheldon in the Jordan Peele film, “US” , Carmina Garay on the hit Disney Plus show, “Diary of a Female President”, Journey Christine on the Netflix sit-com, “The Upshaws”, Jayden Ham starring in Nickelodeon’s “Bossy Bear”, Hunter Deno as the Pink Power Ranger in “Power Rangers: Dino Fury” and many many more.  

***Adults, please prepare Commercial Copy that is 30 second or less.

***Kids/Teens, please prepare a scene that is 2 minutes or less.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

For this event, please prepare commecial copy or bring your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor. If you do not have your own scene, you can select a scene from the General Sides database (link located in your Actors Connection account upon registration).

If you choose to do a scene, please email jess@actorsconnection.com your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.

Please follow the procedures listed below:

• Please update your headshot and fill out the MY INFO section of your AC account upon registration.

• The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

• Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to registration@actorsconnection.com.
