A highly respected CD with over 20 years in the business, David has probably cast close to 1000 commercials. He began his career as an actor before moving into film and television casting with Bonnie Timmermann and Howard Feuer, and commercial casting at Grey Advertising. He has been with Ms. DeSeta for 19 years. This very busy office casts TONS of commercials (both on-camera and V/O) including: Burlington Coat Factory, K-Mart, IBM, Sun Trust Bank, AT&T and Wrigleys. In the past they have cast for Heineken, Popsicle, Microsoft and Century 21. He's called in and booked several AC actors from past seminars and gives great feedback. David Cady
A highly respected CD and teacher with over 30 years in the business, David Cady has cast over 2000 commercials. He began his career as an actor on Broadway (“Merrily We Roll Along”) before transitioning into film and TV casting (“Miami Vice,” "Dirty Dancing," "Enchanted"), and commercial casting at Donna DeSeta Casting, where he worked for over 25 years. In its day, this very busy office cast TONS of commercials (both on-camera and V/O) for clients that included, among many others, Pepsi, Novo Nordisk, Mod’s Hair (for Japan), Amstel, Lyrica, Google, Scholastic, NFL, Verizon FIOs, Marlboro, Orbit Gum and TD Bank. He teaches solid, practical techniques and gives great feedback.
